Advancing USC's strategic vision for teaching with technology

Call for Proposals

We will soon be posting upcoming grant program information for the Summer 2015 and Fall 2015 semesters.

Previous Grants

The Office of the Provost has funded a grant program for the development of Data-Driven Assignments that advance USC’s strategic focus on data-literacy for students. Goals include cultivating student abilities to think critically about data, ask meaningful questions, make evidence-based observations and communicate findings.

Grants in the amount of $3,000 will be awarded for selected proposals and assignments to be developed during Fall 2014 for implementation during the Spring 2015 semester.

Deadline for submission is Sunday, November 9th, 2014.

See proposal guidelines for specific information about applying for a Data-Driven Assignment grant.

Based on goals, trends, and available funding, Learning Design & Technology (LD&T) will periodically announce calls for proposals for faculty grants. These funding opportunities will be sent directly to faculty via email and the TWT News. They will also be listed on this page.

To be informed of all open calls for proposals, USC faculty may request to be added to the LD&T mailing list.

Previous grant programs funded by the Office of the Provost included Learning Environments and Course Continuity in a Crisis. LD&T also managed the nomination and selection process for the Provost’s Prize for Teaching with Technology.
