Blackboard Best Practices Course

By logging in to Blackboard, USC faulty members are automatically enrolled in the Blackboard Best Practices course. Designed by the USC Blackboard team, this self-paced tutorial provides tips and tricks for getting the most out of teaching with the platform. The course is a valuable resource whether you are using Blackboard to teach online-only courses, hybrid courses, or to distribute course resources to your students who take your course in a classroom setting.

Faculty exploring the Blackboard Best Practices tutorial have expressed an overwhelmingly positive response about its helpfulness.

The tutorial offers information about various ways to create and structure lessons, use survey and polling applications, compare assignment and test options, and how to embed cloud and Web 2.0 resources such as Twitter feeds.
